Laundry room floors take a beating. Years of water, foot traffic, and general wear leave bare concrete looking rough - stained, cracked, and honestly kind of embarrassing for a space you use every single day. That's exactly what we were working with on this Lakeville job.

The before tells the whole story. The concrete had significant cracking running across nearly the entire floor, plus staining and surface damage that no amount of cleaning was going to fix. Before any epoxy touches the floor, the concrete has to be properly prepped - ground down, vacuumed clean, and made ready to actually bond with the coating. Skip that step, and the epoxy will peel. We don't skip that step.

Once the surface was prepped and all the debris cleared out, we applied a full residential flaked epoxy system. The gray flake blend we used here is one of our most popular choices for basement spaces - it hides minor imperfections, holds up to moisture, and gives the floor a clean, finished look that bare concrete never could. The topcoat seals everything in and adds that gloss you can see reflecting the overhead light.

What was a cracked, stained eyesore is now a clean, durable floor that actually looks intentional. Epoxy is one of the smartest upgrades you can make in a basement - it's tough, easy to clean, and it completely changes how the space feels. A laundry room shouldn't look like a forgotten corner of the house.

We do this work all across the Lakeville area and beyond. If your basement floor is in rough shape, whether it's a laundry room, utility space, or just unfinished concrete that needs attention - this is exactly the kind of work we do every day.
